ELIGIBILITY FOR B.TECH.
Minimum Academic Qualifications for B.E./B.Tech.:
• Applicant should be a pass in 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:
(a) Chemistry
(b) Bio-Technology
(c) Computer Science
(d) Biology
• For admission to B.E/B.Tech. Bio-Technology, the candidates should be a pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects:
(a) Chemistry
(b) Bio-Tech.
(c) Computer Science
Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category) in the above subjects taken together.
ELIGIBILITY For LATERAL ENTRY
Minimum Academic Qualifications for Admission to 2nd year (3rd Semester) of B.E. / B. Tech. Courses:
• Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering / Technology course of a duration of 3 years or more from an AICTE approved instituion with at least 50% marks in the aggregate (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category) of all semesters
• Should be a pass in BSc. Degree of minimum three year duration from a recognized university with mathematics as a subject, with 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC) marks in aggregate.
• Students belonging to B.Sc. Stream shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics he first year engineering program along with the second year subjects.
• The students, who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology from an AICTE, approved instt. on or B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UCG, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. However the admissions shall be based strictly on the eligibility as mentioned above.
ELIGIBILITY FOR MBA
Minimum Academic Qualifications for MBA:
• Should be a pass with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category) in Bachelor’s or Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto by KU, Kurukshetra, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Guru Jambheshwar University of Sc. & Technology Hissar, CCS HAU, Hissar, DCR University of Sc. & Technology, Murthal and Ch. Devi Lal University, Sirsa, as the case may be OR
• Should be a pass with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category) in Final Examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India/Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India/Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
All the rules and regulations given out by the Department of Technical Education, Haryana from time to time will be applicable in making the merit lists.
